Decatur’s Books Again Used Bookstore Closing Soon

Books Again bookstoreDecatur’s Books Again will close its doors at the end of 2013.

Store owner Jim Adams is running a half-price sale on everything in stock (except consignment titles) through Sunday, November 3rd. He’ll remain open after this weekend (with further price reductions), but probably sometime in December he’ll be vacating the store on McDonough Avenue across the street from Decatur High School.

Adams plans to continue selling books online, but we bookstore browsers will sorely miss his store, one of the few remaining well-stocked used bookstores in the metro-Atlanta area.

  1. Such things as the bookstore closing leave me very sad. I still have not read a book on a Kindle or other device…will we have to buy our books in back alleys or antique stores?
